In recent weeks and months, Trump has attempted to highlight issues he sees in Biden's cognitive abilities calling his opponent sleepy, stumbling and not up to the job. To prove he's a stronger fit, Trump has been bragging about his results in a cognitive test (MoCA), so in this video, we took the test to see how hard it is and what it's really meant for.

It may have been the only test he took himself rather than paying someone else to take it for him.

My 9 year old granddaughter just got a perfect score on the test and she's very pleased that she qualifies for the presidency of the United States of America.

I was an EMT and that sounds like a quick test to recognize diminished capacity after an accident. It's NOT an IQ test.

The fact that he's bragging about "acing" a test they give to people suspected of cognitive decline says all we need to know about the level of Trump's 'intellect...'

Totally blows my mind that he has kept his "cognitive test" going, talking endlessly about it like it is something special

According to Hope Hicks' diary, what really happened was that he couldn't remember any of them and he flew into a rage. He said it was unfair because he didn't know the rules of the test and demanded a redo. So Ronny gave him a redo and he still missed one. So he says that nobody ever remembers the thing he missed and gave himself 100%.

Why would anyone believe he even passed the test with his track record of lying

He SAYS he aced it, but we have never seen proof of that.

This is the kind of test used to decide if grandma can spend her pension on lollies for the grandkids, not if grandma should be allowed to walk around town with the nuclear briefcase

I remember when he was running or maybe first year of presidency, one of his former college professors said Trump was the dumbest student he ever had.

Only Trump can brag about doctors being surprised that he's mentally there.

The fact that he found the brain damage screening assessment to be so challenging oblivious to the fact that endlessly bragging about being cleared for a very specific type of brain damage actually raises concern.

Everything about him is plain ridiculous

When Trump was given the test, they did not say he did well. They said his result amazed them. They did not think he would score so low.

My 96 year old mother took this test after a long bout of illness; she passed and she's daft as a brush (by her own admission); she simply doesn't have any of the mental issues this test is designed to highlight!

The question is, why did his doctors feel the need to give him the test in the first place, and why were they so surprised at how well he did?

I’m 60, and have recently done a test similar to this, and was referred to the hospital for tests, as I didn’t do great. I have a friend, who I have known for 40yrs, and his Alzheimer’s has escalated quite quickly, in the past year. He’s forgotten so much, and it’s heartbreaking. He was a 🇬🇧 politician for 40yrs, and hardly remembers any of it! And before that, he worked down the mine, as an electrician. When I spoke to him, on the phone last night, about 9.30pm, he told me he had just gotten up, and had breakfast. When I told him it was night time, he was quite confused. An hour and half later, he said, “ right, I’m going to nip out and get some batteries”. I told him it was nighttime, and again, he was confused.
As I realise that my memory is slowly going, and am not sure what I’m doing, when it comes to simple tasks, it scares me. I used to be a uni lecturer, ( can’t remember the words to put here) teaching I.T. Now, I don’t know how to use my laptop. 😢
But one thing about it all, is that we both laugh, especially when we both forget the same thing. My fella says we are both nuts, and we agree!😂
60 is young to have the beginning of dementia. So, if you know someone with memory issues, encourage them to see their GP.
