I feel like rek is one of the only channels on YouTube you can watch the progress of his skill on, i mean 3 years ago he was the most average Minecraft player, now hes absolutely cracked out of his mind, its insane.

It’s amazing how much rekrap has improved at speedrunning over the past year and a bit

The dragon on the first seed was such an opp. While I was watching the stream it was so tragic to just watch the dragon keep circling while completions were streaming in

Even making it into top 100 is crazy, well done rekrap and congrats on making such a high spot on the leaderboard

Yep I definitely understand everything. I 100% know the donkey kong route and I am super familiar with the donut...

Donkey Kong route - bridge bastion route created by doogile; a way to consistently get a good amount of Piglins trading at a hole by grabbing pigs from the top layer of the chalice dock. Requires blocks; named DK for its throwback to the original Donkey Kong game’s beam designs leading to the eponymic character
Donut - I don’t like this name at all, but it’s a 4-tnt setup to fully clear out a blaze spawner space to maximize blaze spawn rates. Named for the shape created to setup the tnt for explosion
The biggest observation noted by the ranked commentators that kind of applies to the first seed played by rekrap was that “unless a seed has an extreme level of decision-making or luck, runners are going to be finishing fairly close to each other.” Under this realization, going for one-cycles is not a good idea because the time it loses over zero-cycle is many times more than enough for the entire queue of qual players to pass you by. At this stage in MCSR, there are a lot of good players and a lot of decisions considered “safer” just a year ago are simply obsolete now that a good deal of consistency and speed has evolved into a staple role. The catchup to Feinberg is a thing of distant past

I was here for the stream and I was very impressed with most of the competition but especially how well you kept up with some of the people especially on the first run. You have extremely bright future in front of you here and I believe with just a bit more experience and cleaning some things up you could do unbelievable especially with how fast you go, and you have such fast movement with precision. I really have high hopes for any other tournaments you play in man, great job!
