Yeah same here. There are videos that shows the 3d depth amazingly, so you really don't need glasses and a camera can pick up the depth nicely.

This is how it works. The Camera in the middle will detect your position, and basically it's like looking into another room. Their angle and depth perception changes as you move. So the 3d can be popping out, or far in... if you look on youtube you'll see what im talking about.

@10bigpimpin01 im not positive but i think the camera in the front tracks your eyes so the screen can display the effect of 3d i saw a great video demonstrating it kinda but i forgot the name

@7TT77 No it does use the camera.. "Nintendo is using an LCD technology that sends each eye an independent image that the brain merges together, and the effect adds depth. A lot of depth. And there are multiple sweet spots, so you don't have to awkwardly hold the system in a position that doesn't feel comfortable. If you twist the system you'll get double images and lose the 3D, but it's simple to keep the stereoscopic effect within view. "
