The Hidden Side Of Elation | Honkai Star Rail Lore

Of the many paths in honkai star rail, the path of elation is one that most understand and gravitate towards. The path of elation is all about pursuing laughter and by extension ones personal happiness. While the aeon of elation Aha does seem to follow this creed, it often does things that seem off brand, if all it pursues is laughter why create tragedies. Well as it happens there is a hidden side to elation, a secret purpose to them that goes beyond what has been advertised

So in this video we are going to explore an alternative theory regarding the path of elation and try to see if the hidden side of elation and its aeon.

Some part of this video comes from the actual lore while others may be speculation on my part as we currently do not know the full story. As such take it with a grain of salt as the point of this video is just a deeper dive into Honkai Star Rail lore.

The Elation more like embracing the absurdity

Elation seems to just be seeking entertainment in general which often can result in laughter regardless of what happened. As long as you are entertained you are feleing elation. Also the breathless laughter makes me think everybody is trying to make themselves laugh so hard and so much they die

IMO AHA is also the aeon of Irony. AHA is there laughing at someone thinking their plan will go a certain way, not knowing that something is going to throw them for a loop. And that loop can either be tragic or comedic depending on its nature. Fools operate in the same way. Seeing someone having a bad day and trying to make them smile. Seeing someone having a good day and introducing inconvenience or tragedy. But to varying scales.

Like I’m sure Sparkle is on Penacony pulling strings to make sure everything ends as poetically as possible, be it tragically or comedically, but certainly ironically. In a way, everyone is Sparkle, because everyone is throwing a wrench in someone else’s plans either knowingly or not. Acting with certainty in a chaotic play is the upmost foolishness. “Pretending to be smart like you do”.

With this I think Aha saw the dull machinations of the universe and seeks to introduce chaos, randomness, and drama. Because if nothing will matter after the credits roll, at least the story can be entertaining.

Elation and nihilty are two sides of the same coin. After seeing the meaninglessness of the universe they went different ways to cope with the realisation. One just wants to make everything laugh while the other decided that apathy would get you through

Yea it was crazy. I was pulling on acheron and i had ran out of stellar jade and then somehow i blacked out and had 50 more pulls. I swear Aha was playing some tricks on me

WHY WOULD YOU CALL ME OUT ON NOT HAVING ENOUGH PULLS... I TRIED TO GET HER LIGHTCONE I'M AN INNOCENT MAN LMFAO. But I think its also to notice that Aha is STILL mourning the death of Akivili as they have interacted with us, cried and said "I'm so sad, why did you die?" and the TB for a moment "feels like they truly died". Aha also apologises for blowing up the train which is interesting, and basically almost decimates us after calling us "Fake Akivili" (In swarm disaster iirc). Aha is basically the Aeon of "Showing emotions" rather than only Elation, and Maybe the true Elation is to feel emotions so you can feel the sad ones and move on. I absolutely loved this video btw!! Aha trying to teach mortals ways of.coping with the hard reality is something that is not widely talked about. Another banger video 👌💫
Edit: And to answer the last question, I like my Aeons complex and with many faces 👏👏👏

I see Elation as the polar oppsite of Nihility, both Aeons also coincidentally to be two of the strongest
While Nihility resembles "Every is meaningless, so why bother doing anything?", Elation resembles "Everything is meaningless, that means I can do anything!"

Seeing what you expected to happen isnt funny. We even rarely laugh hearing the same jokes again and again. That is a joke. Rather, I think what interests Aha is the unexpected choices.

Not related to the vid but yesterday I decided to go to hsr data banks and saw the Galaxy Ranger description. It got me confused bc Acheron claims she's one eventho she is most probably an emanator of nihility. In the description of Galaxy Ranger, it says they're like someome who respects lan and they follow it's path or something. If Acheron is a self-proclaimed Galaxy Ranger, while being an Emanator of IX, does that mean one doesn't particularly have to be like a huge fan of a certain Aeon to be it's emanator or something or it's kinda unique to Nihility, bc I feel like I read something related to it somewhere.
Another thing to look at it is that maybe Acheron doesn't particularly look up to Lan but she knows what she's currently doing, the exploring galaxy and sht to fend enemies or smthing is aligned to what the Galaxy Rangers does.

the theory misses the important question, why did the child falling from the tree make Aha laugh in the first place? What's funny about this? and isn’t this the same tree that Aha climbed? which begs the next question - what kind of child is this?
