Men, black, white and everybody in between, wore finger waves in their hair from 1850s to 1950s. Search Bert Williams (circa 1900s) and little Richard 1950s. In the 80s we hip brothas sported a similar version of this with the side parted gumby cut. Now, in my mid 50s with a head full of thick hair. Think I'll side part with finger waves across the top. (No more gumby's for me lol) Your video has inspired me! Thank you

Hi I have a question, so im mixed (Hispanic and White) and my hair is curly like yours but more thicker and curlier (made that word up) so if I flat iron my hair more will it become straight or will it be more straighter but still curly. Nice video anyway!
