You’ve got me coming to the comments which I NEVER do. But, rechargeable light bulbs and you can have any lamp you wish anywhere you want and have the satisfaction of clicking them on and off.

Kitchen lights under the upper cupboards are a game changer, Ikea do some good ones, that can also be remote controlled and dimmable so can look really cosy 😊

I live in Michigan so we get a lot of snow but also a lot of wind so it destroys garden furniture. So, we put all the cushions in the house to store when it’s winter and we put the furniture in the barn, if you don’t have a place to store it then cover it up with a tarp but also put it on bricks don’t leave it in the ground. Hope that helps to keep it looking good for years. Love your plans though!!!

Your bedroom lamp situation has an easy fix. Get those remote control plugs that plug into a wall socket. You plug the lamp or whatever into one and then turn it on and off with the remote, not with the actual switch. That's what I use for my last thing at night lights. A lamp with the switch on the cord would also work. You could put it in the same location, but the switch would be within reach as long as you arranged the cord to hang in the right place.

Just a quick thought on the kitchen lighting! If it were me, I’d avoid pendant lights running through the center of your galley kitchen, as they might emphasize the narrowness of the space. Instead, I’d consider swapping out the ceiling downlights for something with a lower lumen. Installing downlights within the cabinets could help prevent shadows, and adding sconces by the sink would look cute! Hope this helps!

Regarding the Sostrene Grene shelf. Can't you just cut the horizontal pieces to size and screw it back together to fit the space perfectly?

Hey! I like the idea and theme of this video but I find the detailed talking through the milo note at the beginning (first third of the video) and all its functions quite distracting. I get that this is a sponsored video but I think maybe there is a away to focus more on the actual content of the video. I think I learned a lot about mila note's functions and not really the things you actually want for your home.
