Nassau County Police body camera captures officers tasering Black man

A disturbing confrontation was caught on police body camera video in Nassau County. A 33-year-old Black man was tasered by white officers for failing to provide identification during a suspected jaywalking incident. CBS New York's Jennifer McLogan spoke to the plaintiff.

The problem that is growing here lately is that cops use excessive force only AFTER the ""suspects"" comply. He threatens to tase him until he takes out his ID but never does until he actually DOES take out his ID. So it's no longer comply or die, now it's comply AND die.

That’s not the answer. NCPD failed this one. They will most likely settle and nothing will change with that department.

The news sure no how to spin a story to make black ppl the victim. What I see is a guy that think he is above the law. Whether the cop is wrong or right, u can’t go against any lawful orders given to u.
