I like that idea. Anything that not only helps your character improve, but allows you something additionally to "chase".

Grim dawn gets around the previous node dependency check by making you buy "depth into the tree". In LE it would probably be easy to code for non gear dependency requirements but not in such a way that it wouldn't confuse players in the UI. I don't remember but I think D4 are all end of branch things so easy enough to do.

I mean we basically have already the comparable affix to diablo passive bonuses on gear. Skill affixes. You can't compare skill tree from d4 to the passives of last epoch, you can compare them to skills.

I love this response and wouldn't want this type of Stat, so I hope they don't add it regarding the passive point one, mastery buff sounds sick

Mhh hope they hit the sweet spot here between useless, only for 1 build and at the same time mandatory for this 1 build and overall mandatory if u play this class.

Wish LE rare items went back to 6 affixes it would make getting perfect items less easy to do but give you more options on slots so ideas for more affixes would fit in gear more and make crafting a bit less OP I like this mastery idea hope it feels good
