As a Briton I am very proud of the support the British have given militarily, diplomatically, economically and our outstanding intelligence services that work hand in glove with their american counterparts. I am proud also in America and its support and leadership which would not have existed 16 months ago with a president who once wanted to bribe Putin with a $50M penthouse so he could get a hotel passed for building and who tried to blackmail Zelensky.

Putin may not have remorse but he must be having regrets. Not for the harm he is doing in Ukraine, he couldn’t care less about that, but the harm to his reputation and for the laughing stock which his military has turned out to be.

I wish this news report had more info on how difficult this meeting was to organize. If this is easy, then its no big deal, and vice versa. I read in Obama's memoir that when he traveled as president he took a small army with him. Either way, it definitely shows how confident they are that Russian forces aren't coming anywhere near Kiev anytime soon.
