The CEOs of Twitter, Facebook and Google are facing a grilling by Republican senators making unfounded allegations that the tech giants show anti-conservative bias.

The Senate Commerce Committee has summoned Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg and Google's Sundar Pichai to testify for a hearing Wednesday. The executives agreed to appear remotely after being threatened with subpoenas.

With the election looming, Republicans led by President Donald Trump have thrown a barrage of grievances at Big Tech's social media platforms.

They accuse the platforms without evidence of deliberately suppressing conservative, religious and anti-abortion views.

We need section 230 applied to big tech. Make these companies accountable.

Who fact checks the fact checkers? Who made them god? I know if you don't like it you can go elsewhere. That is what we need to do. They have become way to big and need to be broken up. There needs to be more choices.

Section 230 is a good law but, it doesn't prevent these big tech guys from cherry picking what you see or do not see. fake or not, I will decide what is relevant, real, grotesque, and fake. At the very most, perhaps a warning sign of the nature of the post is warranted nothing else. The reader should be able make all of their own decisions of reading a comment or news piece after seeking access past the comment/news warning a piece of software or delicate ratings person.

No either revoke it or label them as publishers. End this censorship now

Tech giants say they are not publishers, but when you sell, and place ads on somebody else's content, that automatically makes you a publisher. Why legal experts haven't caught this is mind boggling.

Reform 230. We want them to be a platform, not a publisher.

The only thing I know about their “line” is I’m on the wrong side of it, only 20% is on the “right “ side of the line, the rest are censored

Jack Dorsey and the others are lying scumbags. They are influenced by the money from the New World Order to get a Democratic shill elected. Twitter and Facebook and Google are all fronts for the New World Order, who prints our money without audit and uses it to bribe our leaders in all segments of society. Until we print our own money, we can expect more traitorous behavior from such shills.

Section 230 should remain. The second you become a publisher by picking and choosing acceptable content like these companies clearly do, those protections are no longer yours to claim.
