I'm so happy I planted mustard that my son doesn't care for. Yeh I have no tiller 🥺 I'm the tiller and at age 72 and 2 back surgeries I'm not to good at it. I suppose I can rent one.

Question, I know that in the south mustard is strictly a winter crop. But if you are growing it as a cover crop can you grow it in the late spring or summer?

Would any mustard seeds work and would they grow on the north side of our house that’s not getting a lot of sun? If not, is there anything you’d recommend for a couple of raised beds that i have been growing tomatoes and peppers for the last two summers?
