Russia's Appeal to India: Let Us Use Your Airlines | GRAVITAS

Russia has reportedly made a proposal to India for using Indian airlines to operate on local routes within Russia. Western sanctions have reportedly cut off Russia’s access to the U.S. and European aircraft manufacturers and component supplies. This has reportedly not only prevented new aircraft from being added but also led to several existing ones being grounded due to the lack of software upgrades or spare parts.

The airlines will be sanctioned. So no landing facility in Asean or Dubai. A big problem to indian travellers who are already treated as garbage- India could still do it but Airbus + Boeing have 1200 aircraft Manufacturing orders. That could be compromised affecting the companies future expansion plans.

Using India to by-pass sanctions & its effects will cost very dear to India. Recently Russia seized 400 jets costing billions of dollars in an insurance trap. If this can be done to them why not India? Trade-off with oil or Brics gold guarantee inked by Russia.
