I still have my Hestras I bought in the 90's, and yes, I still use them. Kangoroo leather if not mistaken.

Quick question—I noticed a stain on the leather side, probably from holding onto the bar on the chairlift. Should I try wiping it off with a damp cloth first? And I assume I should wait for it to dry completely before applying the leather balm—assume that applying balm while it’s still damp isn’t recommended. Is that right? Kindly advise, thanks

Thanks, this helped! On a ski trip right now and didn’t know if I needed tot use the balm daily. But is it possible to use too much balm? Or can it only help? Thanks anyway!
