My thoughts on the Louis Vuitton Recto Verso

So here are my thoughts on this wallet that I have been carrying for several weeks now. I hope you enjoy!

The wallet is bending like that because of all the cards you have in that open pocket behind the flap, I own 3 of these in mono, empreinte and DE and I notice if I put stuff there that happens. Also, a lot of cards in the back could be causing that bending. I really love this piece, I hook my keys on the clip and leave it loose.

I got the recto verso just two days ago and already the zipper material is fraying all around the zipper. I also find it really tight and super difficult to pull out my cards, even when it’s not full. Beautiful SLJ, but not worth the hefty price tag in my opinion. Great review and thanks for sharing!

Hi! I just purchased the recto verso mono at my local LV after stalking the website for about 3-4 weeks after seeing your unboxing. I missed it a couple of times by a matter of an hour or so. Just saw that it was in stock at 4:30pm today and messaged my CA and was able to purchase it in person by 6. I can’t wait to check it out! 😀

I think you can’t actually fit a lot in the recto verso, the zipper bends a lot when you try to stuff it beyond a few cards.also its hard to pull out the cards from the slots

I like this piece, however I do think it is overpriced. I ordered it and then returned it as it was not functional for me and lost its shape too easily... I prefer my Victorine wallet!
