-I had an open afternoon when one of my classes was canceled for the day. I saw this video and heard that it had no music in it and was inspired to do my own take on it. This was just an afternoons work so its not super polished or anything like that, just a fun little project. :3
- Most of the foley sound effects in the video were already there, I just added a few more subtle layers and reinforced some of the sounds that were already there with some musical and ambient cues. Aside from that the rest is just pretty standard motivic music, theres a "Heroes Motif" and the "Golem's Motif," which pop up throughout.
-I wanted the instrumentation to be a traditional string setting for the fantasy elements mingled with electronics for the more technological undertones that are depicted throughout the film and finally threw a few tiny 16-bit references for the video gamey-ness.
Such a cool little animation based off their previous elder scrolls skyrim animations.

If I had to be completely honest I liked it better without all the added stuff. The calming and mysterious atmosphere maid me want to see more. The music maid it feel like I was playing or watching the game terraria. Plus not gonna lie the The whole fight scene was with the charter meeting an enemy that stood no chance, and u definitely maid it intense but it just didn’t fit with the whole thing. Just my opinion and u have tons of good experience with editing 😉
