FOUNDRY is a first-person factory building simulation set in an endless procedurally generated voxel world. I think you made the right call to do a second video on this. The verticality is an element that I hadn't seen before and didn't expect. It is one of the things that is most constrained in Factorio and is perhaps a little bit beyond my laptops ability to handle in Satisfactory!

I suspect the "enormous amount of space" feeling comes partly from the field-of-view. When you blow stuff up, it looks like you've cleared a lot of depth, but when you walk towards it, it comes at you really fast.

This game looks like a modernized "Fortress Craft Evolved." Having played both there's definitely some inspiration between the two, but i think Fortress craft ends up having cooler exploration.

You can use one freight elevator to send a different product each way. But limit it to that because if you can't take a product out, the elevator will stall in that direction. I usually use on to send tracks down and the product up.

You also can hop over the rail miner tracks. I'd call it a bug that you don't automatically step up to do so if you have the option to automatically climb levels turned on (it is by default).

Take the time to right click while placing to see if there are more options. The HUD shows if there are.

Free placement mode (non-snapping) is good for getting the top of freight elevators where you want them.

I do quite like this, like you said, it really utilises the 3rd dimension well, you can hide stuff underground should you choose

Really loving your content! Still reasonably new to Factorio and very new to Foundry (thanks to your first video) and am finding your videos very helpful and informative. I know this is a 'let's play' rather than a tutorial, but I'm trying to follow along with your layouts/designs in my game, but am not quite catching them as they are sometimes quickly brushed over (e.g. Science II). I do look forward to more of these! 😊

I had high hopes for Techtonica and was disappointed by your lack of enthusiasm about it during one of your Satisfactory streams. I hadn't heard of this game but it seems to scratch the same itch and more. I hope the community comes together behind Foundry. Does anyone else get excited about getting involved in games in their early days?

I don't think you need to worry about the ventilation of the combustion engines in the mines; the player is a robot, so the air could be full of mustard gas and they'd be fine.

This game is awesome, I've played about 10hrs, I'm enjoying it more than satisfactory, and it's decently polished for early access.

Not sure if you ever played it or heared about it, but consider checking out Fortresscraft Eveolved. It is similar to this game in many ways but long complete and very fun in my opinion. Plus it is made by a grumpy, but sweet developer, who would definitively apreciate the exposure

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like you can build Foundation even if you are overlapping other Foundation. The red part just doesn't get built. This is something that is sadly lacking in satisfactory and Dyson Sphere program that I love to see here
