The compressor tip is the best one. I wish I knew that years ago.

This month I’ve been seeing more of this dudes face than my girlfriend... I am not mad at it neither! Hahaha! Better than binging on Netflix! 😂

I’ve really taken your advice and my masters are sounding much more competitive. Would you be able to give us your take on true peak, when it should be engaged and what level to set for playback and streaming? Love your videos and can’t wait for more to come. Thanks Streaky

As per your short course I can say 1. Template with metric a/b or similar and 2. Learn a few tools well. For me I chose metric halo sontec, ff pro l2 an Elysia alpha. Probably good open back headphones for monitoring. Cheers.

Hey streaky, lovin your content, helped me a lot! I'm going to change my room and this time I want to nail a great room from the start, i was wondering how big is your room and what's a good size room for mastering?
Cheers!

Great stuff, as always. Can you talk about the phrase "using all your bits"? In SPL's metering tool, HawkEye, they have a bit meter. Could you talk about how to read such meters and how it can be applied to mixing/mastering in a practical sense? Thanks!

Hi Streaky, thanks for the video. I have a question. Is your minimalistic approach happening after a mix engineer has applied his stuff to the 2-bus? If I was so subtle in mastering, my mixes would be quiet, small and 'rough'. My chain is more like doing glue and scooping with 1 to 3 multiband compressors, 1 to 2 eq and then a limiter. In addition, I might use a distortion plugin to spice it up even more. Should I go back to the mix and do all that processing on every single track or group? I think some of that glue and cohesiveness wouldn't even be possible without my 'process'.

Hey Streaky Great Video ...what are your top 5 in the box plug ins for mastering, and say you do have good converters, how would one use the SSL fusion, it has compressor built in it, would you still limit mix after going back in the box ! ?

Great video as alway Streaky! How did monitoring not make this list? I know how important great monitoring is to you Streaky, but I guess you have made several videos on monitoring. So maybe I answered my own question HAHA. It's late I need sleep 😴 Cheers!

Hi Streaky What AD/DA converters are you currently use? You still uses the Lyra 2 AD or only the Lynx Hilo? I'm waiting your review of the burl converters too .
