Do you guys think that if these companies dropped their prices down $200 the E-Ink Market would take off? I didn’t know these things existed or never even thought about a digital notebook before and when I discovered it I knew I had to get one. But I feel like the biggest deterrence is that big $500 price point. People will easily talk themselves out of buying one because they rationalize it as just a notebook. I love my Remarkable 2. It’s my favorite birthday gift I’ve ever received.

On a Boox device, for the screensaver I can choose transparent and the screen will show the exact document I was working on when asleep. This is great for when you have a to do list and just want to reference your checklist and not have to wake the device. Does the Supernote have this option as well?

The remarkable 2 was easily my favorite e-ink notebook but the lack of a backlight just became such a handicap at home and in the office when there wasn’t enough light. Also the subscription service is just too much. I know back up is free if the note had been updated within a certain amount of time but I got fed up with older notes going out of sync if I didn’t pay. It’s really too bad. The kindle scribe is not even half as good but I’ve learned to live with it because that’s how important having a backlight and free cloud backups are. I hope remarkable can figure out how to stay in business without their expensive subscription service.

The magnetic effect you are getting at the end of this video with the Remarkable 2 is either highly exaggerated or an issue with your tablet specifically. I can not reproduce the issue on mine with the keyboard attached even when I am trying.

Shame Ratta (Supernote) have already stopped stocking the folio for the A5x with the larger Lamy loop, so that's very bad sign as you would very well keep using the device years after a new one. Very bad

I just can't get over how cheap the A6 felt as an object. Iys light, but it felt cheap to me, and like something that should cost about 50$.
