The rock was a Hardy boy, that was until offaly decided to put in a footballer from shannonbridge John Ryan in to take care of him in the 2000 hurling semi final. The rock had great manners that day mostly because he spent most of it flat out on his back

That Meath team of the 80s were pure filth, they went out to maim players, kick anything that moves. Horrible team, they weren’t hard they were extremely dirty and destroyed football. Amen.
