In this video we take a journey half way across the world (literally because I live in LA) to the remote island of Komodo.

The Komodo Dragon is so impressive. It can grow up to almost 10 feet long, 200 lbs and run as fast as 13 MPH. Up close and personal these things are very intimidating and scary… certainly ranks as one of my top science adventures!

Awesome, that is so cool that there is a park dedicated to them, I did not know that they ate prey that large!
I stroked a couple as a kid, didn't realize how dangerous they were. I wonder how closely they are related to the monitor lizard as they seem like giant versions.
