The JEN SX-1000 Overdrive, adjusted

After a successful bench-test, my JEN SX-1000 monosynth is now permanently equipped with an "Llama" overdrive as an analog, pre-filter waveshaper. I have added an input pot and have tweaked the settings so that a sawtooth starts overdriving at about 12 o'clock on the "level" knob and goes just about into full, square-toothy overdrive.

Output of the overdrive circuit has been set so that the filter goes into self-oscillation.

I like the way it sounds, especially with a bit of sub-oscillator added, and with filter attack - really juicy, foundational bass.

Hi, I’ve been searching the web looking to add midi to my Jen thats how I came across your website. There is a lot info to be found if you have one with a broken M110 but mine is still working so I would like to keep it. Do you perhaps know of a way of adding cv without replacing the M110? I have a simple midi to cv / hz/v interface so I was hoping to use that in the Jen.
