How to Merge and Unmerge Cells in Google Sheets

In this video, I show you how to merge and unmerge cells in google sheets. I show three different methods for merging cells: using the formatting menu, using the merge tool, and using a keyboard shortcut to merge cells. I also show two different ways to unmerge cells.

Some random empty grid spaces just merge for some reason. I want to unmergei them but I can't because I have to merge everything first, which deletes everything

Is there any way to unmerge all merged cells in the whole sheet? Somehow some cells got merged (most probably a massive paste from excel) and it couses problems for me
