Bungie is known for putting their best work out when backed into a corner but the newest round of layoffs was the nail in the coffin for that company

In my eyes, (dedicated D2 player with 3k+ hours on PC alone), Destiny was supposed to truly die after Curse of Osiris. Bungie pulled the biggest rabbit out of the hat with Forsaken.

Unfortunately now, Bungie as a studio is in between a rock and a hard place because of their senior executive leadership. They can't keep sustaining D2, and it'll really die off this time.

I played the first game religiously with friends and I played the second for a little bit, it could be fun, the problem is and has always been that it doesn't have a solid identity. It's an MMO that doesn't want to be an MMO but still has all the problems of an MMO or at least thats what it was like in D1.

Although I really loved playing both Destiny games, I got super annoyed years ago when they started vaulting content and gave up on playing it.

This Warlock hung his gjallarhorn for good years ago. It was my friend’s game, not mine, though I did try to be there as his support. My only regret is that I never was able to play in any of the sparrow races.

Watermelon is still my favorite shader for my Titan though. If only because it pissed my friends off so much

I remember buying destiny the original game for 60 bucks finished all the content in 2 days was so pissed i will never play that game again.

Prism hunter was a design mistake both in pve and pvp.

sadly i couldent finsh the story due to all the toxic ses pool of the playerbase, i had to quit the game do to having no friends to help

Destiny has been dying since it’s release with poor storyline, little to not cutscenes, cut off storylines, grimoire cards online to supplant in game story, and corridors on “planets” instead of open world environments. Repetition of the same areas and lack of story killed this game long before anything else.

Wtf is this guy smoking. Destiny is doing great. We literally had 314 thousand players on steam alone with the final shape dlc. The peak on steam was 316 thousands
