This sounds just the same as every group of people I grew up with in NYC. These expressions could be from the Black women I grew up with, smoking Kools in school bathrooms in the 1970s. Same faces, same sounds as my Italian and Russian-Jewish grandmothers - all drama!! We're all kinda the same, y'know... <3
