Jon Favreau deserves so much more praise for his part in launching the biggest film franchise in history.

I love how Clark Gregg got his job just because he was the director's neighbour. And then that led to one of the best Marvel TV shows

Casting RDJ as Stark is the best casting choice they ever made. Thanks for giving us 15 years of laughter, excitement and sobbing 🥰

I was at that Comic Con where they first showed the footage - it was unreal - folks there lost their minds, and they weren’t Marvel Stans yet… we all knew we witnessed something incredible. And there was a genuine encore to show it again. It was glorious. So nice seeing Jon get the respect he deserves for setting the tone for the MCU.

Jon’s focus on physical effects with Stan Winston’s creative team was the winning combination.
Robert Downey Jr. walked the line (balance) between comedy and drama (he loved it).

And now RDJ is playing Doctor Doom. Full circle moment.

It’s very telling when they say RDJ was up with them at two in the morning brainstorming rewrites and such. RDJ was so invested and that really shines through.

I'd like to see more of this where Kevin Feige sits with every MCU director in an interview like this. You get to learn more about the behind of the scenes not talked in detail and some really good one to one conversations.

Iron man literally created and carried the mcu for 15 years. Props to marvel for creating such a huge film series, and props to iron man for carrying it 🎉

Kevin Feige and Jon Favreau are like the Stan Lee and Jack Kirby of Marvel Studios. Even if they aren't around in another 10-15 years doing stuff with Marvel, the stories and characters will continue to thrive under new direction.

I can’t believe it’s been 15 years. I still remember watching Iron Man as a child, understanding nothing but flashes and magic. And as we grew older, it all made much more sense. Nostalgia 🥺

This conversation was a real joy to watch. I’m always impressed with how down to earth and honest Kevin is and Jon’s excitement to talk about his own contributions is kinetic.

One of my film school professors used Iron Man to help teach how a three act structure works in a movie. Very well made movie and incredibly iconic.

I was 7 years old when the first Iron Man came out, I'm now 22. I have grown up with these characters always in my life and I've cheered and cried for them. Seeing Tony's heroic sacrifice shook me and I'll never forget how I felt among all my friends in a packed theater as tears streamed down my face as I watched my childhood hero die and everyone say goodbye to him. I'll always have a special place in my heart for Iron Man. Corny I know but I grew up with the guy in a weird way and he had always kinda been there so when he died it was such a gut punch for me.

The Dr. Doom line is wild, looks like RDJ was always meant to play the role even before Ironman.

I really wish they would’ve brought this gem back in theaters for the 15th anniversary. 😢

This is what strengthened my relationship with my oldest daughter. Since day one we have caught every movie opening day or weekend. Still continues to this day. We thank everyone involved and of course the man himself, Stan Lee.
