I met Jeff Wald with Helen after one of her concerts in Reno. He and Helen were still married at the time. I showed Jeffrey a photo a friend had taken of Helen and comedian Totie Fields. When Helen came out he was nice to take a photo of me and Helen on my Polaroid camera. I cherish that moment. Thank you Helen and Jeff for the power of music! Helen, your voice is one that enriched my life! Rest now, in God's peace!!

she had a great run of hits, tremendous confidence, and a voice that you remember like a Karen Carpenter. I read some sad stories of her losing her money at some point and a bit sad seeing her the last few years, but her talent was a gift to us that remember the '70s.

Her husband took all her money and she was completely broke. He spent all her money on drugs. Watch her story on Netflix
