Bengal Polls 2021: Over 5,000 Covid Cases In Poll Bound State; Mamata Demands Polls At One Go

The poll bound-West Bengal on Wednesday recorded the highest single-day increase in Covid cases as 5,892 infections pushed up the active caseload past 30,000 to 32,621. In view of this, Bengal Chief Minister urged Election Commission to hold assembly election at one go. However, Election Commission rejected Mamata Banerjee's request. Watch full bulletin.
