On top of the Force Fuel pump, there is a, stainless looking cap, that appears to have a vacuum hook up. What is this for?

Do you need a EFI fuel tank? I have an 1981 Jeep with the surge pump set up I want to convert to the in take fuel pump. I do not believe the electric pump is located in the optimal position and I have fuel starvetion issues @ times.

I have one of the forced fuel set ups, but the car shuts off after about 15 miles. That's about the amount of fuel in the tank. It feels like it's running out of fuel. Where else can there be a problem?

I got the fitech 400hp its on a 351 Cleveland I changed from a external fuel pump to a internal 4 bar fuel pump now it only runs if you pore fuel down the carby do i need a fuel regulator or something i am missing
