David Banner felt sorry to let the lady doctor think that he left her high & dry when the father & brother of a female patient that she failed to save were hunting her for vengeance. But he got caught in a trap and had to change into The Hulk to save her. Besides, after he changed back he had to run again because of Jack McGee, who had found The Hulk again but had to help with the guy's son, who's throat got smashed when he hit the steering wheel after The Hulk threw a wheel at the jeep with the guy's son, McGee, and a Spanish guy who was guiding them. But Banner was glad the boy's life was saved by Dr. Collins, but couldn't say goodbye to her.

Oh, not that trap again! The pain must have added to the hulk's rage. And here's another angry man who is sorted out when he meets the hulk's rage (it happens again in A Child in Need).

The Hulk didn't mean to injure the throat of the son of the man who was going to kill her because she failed to save his daughter. He did feel a little sorry for that. Lucky the lady doctor was able to save the loony guy's son & be forgiven afterwards.

That man was loony, out to kill the doctor, even if the mistake she made did kill his daughter. Murder is murder and he would have faced criminal charges. Just as well the hulk was around.
