Using a Sweeping Edged Sword to hit an armour stand placed near the spiders should allow you to stay far enough back to prevent poison but stil transfer the damage to the spiders. Sweeping Edge via 'entity transfer' is overpowered. 😁

Beet roots and seeds are great early game for putting in the composter and getting bonemeal. Just a nice throw away crop.

Impulse for the spawner kill chamber, have them drop half a block. Then in front of that put a block, half slab and then a trap door above, makes small enough gap for you to hit but not for them to escape.

I really tried to keep up with the streams bc I loved them, but just too busy to keep up. So I’m glad you’ve done the “edited streams.” Thanks so much for that. When I have time, I watch the streams, but this gives me a way to quickly catch up when work gets crazy.

When you get the spider farm fully functional, don't forget to sell your string to the fletcher. It's a good amount of additional xp.

Hey Impulse, loving the series. Someone may have already mentioned this but Bane of Arthropods V would be perfect for your Spider XP Farm. Would kill them in 1 hit. Bane of Arthropods, Sweeping Edge, Mending. Just keep it at the Farm.

Put Bane of Arthropods V on your sword and they’ll all be one-hit without hitting you back.

If you keep a witch with a glass block in her head next to the farm, it will attract the cave spiders to it so you can hit them

You want a sword with bane of arthropods (preferably level V, which is a 1HK against spiders on even low tier swords) to use against the cave spiders and regular spiders - that works better than sharpness does. The series is amusing.

You can use this trick, where you are hitting a minecart with your sword and the sweepingedge kills the spiders. I remember doc was using this trick in one of his farms.

i would recommend bringing a cow down to the spider grinder. infinite milk for when youre farming, and also a friend to talk to while you wait.
