It is a happy day to finally see someone talk about what it means to be living with PTSD in a misinformed society. Invalidating trauma by calling it a "curse" or "black magic" makes it beyond painful when it comes to how painful trauma alone can be. For a country that had to deal with so much of it, we have a long way ahead of ourselves when it comes to mental health, and I'm incredibly happy to see it portrayed so realistically in a movie like this one. Congratulations to the cast and crew for doing such a remarkable job on deciding to tell such a brave, important story. Can't wait to see it.

The fact that the director went through actual PTSD after losing her mother and sister during the war is what makes this movie so authentic. I also feel like the actors did such an amazing job, especially the lead actress, for carrying such a heavy role and executing it perfectly. This movie is definitely a landmark and an example for future Kosovan movies to come.

It blows my friggin' mind that a film this well made didn't receive some kind of wider release outside Kosovo. I kept waiting for the day it would happen, and it never came. I'm glad I saw it, but I think it's a real shame that in this day and age of greater access to streaming, a film like this just sort of disappeared in the content void. As someone with PTSD, I think it deserves to be way more talked about than simply disappearing into niche obscurity. Its depiction of trauma is frankly really unnerving, in an incredibly authentic and accurate way that'll certainly linger in my memory long after I saw it.
