I appreciate you don’t recommend to upgrade from M1 iMac, which is still obviously perfectly fine for everything. Just wondering if nano texture glass implies less eye strain vs standard glass ?

I just sold my 27" i7 iMac and loved that....they need to come out in these with a larger display already!!!! The green is beautiful I'm tempted to swap out my Mac Mini M4 Pro almost I love how pretty those computers are.

The base iMac has 8 Core binned cpu, whereas the next level up has 10 core. You get two fans on the next level up. You get 4 Thunderbolt ports with next level up, and the keyboard has touch ID. You also get an Ethernet port. Both use the same flat mouse, if that is your thing. It works, but not as good if you use a wrist mouse pad, or run out of juice, as the recharge port is in the mouse belly -- yep, not way to charge and use. The Logitech M510 works well with my M1 iMac. And it is inexpensive -- my choice in mice for over a decade. I have a base M1 which is still good -- perhaps a little slowing down going on. The M4 chip is just so much faster, and the next level up might make the better choice as well.

Nice video sir. I’m considering the M4 iMac for my photo editing. I was considering 32GB of Ram ( is that too much ), 1 TB of Storage and the 10 core CPU. My current iMac is a 2015 Retina model. She still works fine but I think it’s time for an upgrade. I’m not much of a computer geek so I easily get confused with all the spec talk. I just want a computer thats easy to use. I sure would appreciate any helpful suggestions that you might have. That green iMac is gorgeous. It definitely has my attention. Thanks Dave

Michael, should I get the iMac M4 or the apple studio display? I already have the macbook air m3 and macbook pro.
I need your advice.
