What a great throwback to the 1930s-1940s era Universal Pictures logo!

Easily my favorite variant to ever come out of the entire studio.

It is definitely an extraordinary, cool and epic variant going back to the 30s and 40s but animated in 3D in the current style of the logo. It is definitely one of the best variants that this company made.

I know it’s probably never going to happen, but Universal should consider using this logo for their upcoming Wolf Man film with Blumhouse or really with any of their modern takes on classic monsters

Awesome! It would have been even cooler, if for this variation of the logo, they brought back the 1936-1946 music and used it for this. It's nice to see Universal still acknowledge their past logos.

If you listen very carefully when the universal logo appears you can hear a splash and a scream which means we have a cold opening where we show up right at the aftermath of Dorothy Gale dumping the water on elphaba and cause her to melt which elphaba used as a means to fake her death so she and fiyero could go into hiding
