Sea Trout on Metal Lures | Scotland

Another successful Sea Trout video. The Gareloch was the desired destination and it did not disappoint, A few nice sized Sea Trout all caught on lures (12 g Super Sprat) towards the end the typical West of Scotland weather decided to hit with wind and rain. Fortunately it didn’t stop us from catching and with my new Abu Garcia Devil rod and Diawa Crossfire 3000 reel it was put to the test. As expected both handled the Sea Trout extremely well, made the session extremely comfortable to fish. A great day had by myself and hoping to be able to upload more footage in the near future, Thank you as always and hope you enjoy

Great video and catches. Is a day ticket available for sea trout fishing in that area? I'm aware the Loch Lomond club controls some of the area around the Clyde estuary.

just one thing, it drives me nutty watching you come back across the shallows for your net! have you thought about attaching a magnetic holder and catch that attaches to a harness so you can stow it away on your back? or even just a bungee strap gaffer taped onto the handle and you hook the strap over your shoulder? ok, none of my business!😂 do you require a permit for that stretch of shoreline? 👍
