You've all heard Jon this week very kindly putting my name out in most of his interviews so thought I'd just let you know what I'm thinking ahead of the retirement party this week.

Real MMA fans attending UFC 309. You NEED to get chants going for Aspinall at the presser, weigh-ins and even the fight itself. Nothing will be more effective than this in getting the message from the fans across

Ironically, Jon ducking Tom so blatantly obvious as he has, is actually more damaging for his "legacy" than if Tom starched him in the first round.

The annoying thing is Tom could already be racking up title defence number's but instead the division has had to wait around for jones, which is a joke if you haven't fought within a set period no matter who you are you need to be stripped

Lets look at Jons legacy.
-Steroid cheat.
-Objectively a horrible human being and well known sociopath.
-Now hes ducking Aspinall.
-Lost to Dominic Reyes.
That is alot of asterisks next to his legacy.

One thing Jon doesn’t understand is that he doesn’t control the narrative, we do. The fans, the journalists, the podcasters, the people who tune in are the ones who decide what your legacy is. You cannot dictate this, when 85% of the fan base thinks you’re cherry picking, that’s how you’ll be remembered. The others are just goofballs who hang their hats on being the “ones who know” or that the rest of us are casuals when in fact accepting whatever Jon says makes you the casual. We know what Jon did 10+ years ago but times change and he knows that and chooses to ignore the facts.
