By spamming placeholder items (these free protobelts) you reduce your luden's CD and you also proc Spellbinder's super fast.
What this causes is the ultra low Luden's CD - it basically procs every 0, 5s. Works great with DoTs.

If 2 units are close to eachother, this effect will only end if one of them dies:
A unit is hit and the ludens bolts fly to the second unit. Now the second unit counts as hit and releases ludens bolts itself, which hit the first unit. And then the cycle continues.

Seems fair and balanced to me.
