Trying out a new motor/esc install. The Traxxas
Velineon thermal shut down on me a couple times
during my last outing when I wasn't pushing that
hard.

Trying out a Castle Sidewinder SCT SV3 with
3800kv motor to see how it does.

Broke the truck 5 minutes into my second pack,
roughly 30 minutes total run time today.

Running SMC 7200Mah 2S 90C packs with 54/13
gearing. I was running 54/14 with the Velineon
system.

The SCT setup doesn't seem to have as much
punch off the line. Motor hit 120F, esc 95F during
this session. Was 60F outside. traxxas

I would up the pinion to 16 and check the punch control setting with castle link. If it is on disable it.
