What a great song that brings back memories of my teenage years in Bandera, Texas, where i grew up as a son of an american father and a german mother! The years are gone and i live since decades meanwhile in Germany since the dead of my father during the Vietnam war as i was 20 years old. My mother decided to go back to Germany, 'cos she couldn't stand the loneliness and i couldn't leave her alone. But a big part of my heart and soul is still remaining in Bandera, TX and the happy few years i had there with my father. Creed, your song "This Town", helps me to preserve these memories and the precious feelings for America inside my heart. Therefore many, many thanks! God bless you!

This song hit home. I moved from one big city to another big city for work. Settled down in the small town my son, his wife and my granddaughters live in. Didnt take long to have locals know who I was and what I do for a living. I do residential appliance and refrigeration repair. I go to local high school football games. I have fixed an oven on the side for a strawberry rhubarb pie, I have fixed a freezer for some ground Antelope the customer got in Montana. Got hunting access from a local farmer after fixing his dishwasher. Shared goose pepperoni with him I got from his land. I finally figured out what was missing in my life.
