Hi. Very useful video. A couple of other things currently missing from Lightroom CC are tethered shooting and printing. Tethered may not be relevant to many people using LR but printing might be. I assume that there are still people out there who want to print some of their pics! Your technique for putting images into collections (or, as they are called in LR CC. Albums) is exactly what I do. When I’m out and about, I shoot with either my DSLR or iPhone (using LR camera so that I can shoot RAW) and bring the images into LR CC. I then cull and do some basic editing using my iPad Pro. Then I move the best images into an album. When I get home, all my albums have been synced into my Classic collections and I can print. It works well and means that I have access to all my images on any device and anywhere I am, but can use the facilities within LR Classic when I have my laptop or am back home with my desktop.
