Even with a successful post move (dropstep, pump fake) 2k will still give bigs a weak animation under the rim leading to a miss or body block, yet guards can finish through traffic with the layup stat alone #pRoPlAy

I’ve literally made 8 or 9 centers already and in my experience 92 standing dunk is where you want to be to almost guarantee a successful standing dunk each time. You’ll have to utilize the 3 P’s (post moves, pump fakes and positioning) but even with the ridiculously inconsistent latency from dunk to dunk the green window will almost always be large enough to green each time. I have bigs with standing dunk in the mid and low 80s as well and even though sometimes I get a good green window the drop off is huge.

Long as you have at least an 83 standing dunk you can go crazy. Dont sleep on wingspan and vertical. It makes a huge difference. I have. No post control on my glass and get tons of standing contacts no meter.

I have 90 str, 92 stand dunk, 6-10, 80 vert, and all badges. Can’t dunk ever. Even with no one near me.

the meter is their best weapon, just dont equip all the standing ones, just do the elites, slow ones because they’re easy to time and get blocked less often because they jump so fast!

also i recommend having at least 83-86 driving dunk and u guys will discover the power of pre-timing a dunk meter on a cut or fastbreak (trigger the dunk meter before the pass gets to u but after it leaves the passer’s hand

Rise up is way more important to me...kinda feels like fast twitch doesn't work as well as it should

there's a push ani (with elbow) so you get enough space to trigger standing dunk (with contact ani), since dropstep doesnt always create enough space. Other ani you can try are baseline half spin and hold the right stick which triggers standing dunk

Shit I have 90 standing dunk, Gold rise up, and Gold dropstep. Even on animations that I don't get clearouts on the drop step I still standing dunk. I get alot of standing contacts off of pump fakes from drop steps etc under rim even on strong interior defenders

The dropstep to right is good for when you have height or strength mismatch on post scorer it’s free lay up

How do u get the standing dunk directly out of the drop step? Is there a certain thing u do cause every time I try to drop step under basketball I have to wait a little bit to dunk it with square or with right stick.

How to do standing dunks: press and hold both bottom triggers, push both joysticks up and hold all 4 buttons at the same time. Do this around the circle under the rim and yes it can be right underneath the rim (the underneath the rim part probably would be for rise up)
