As someone who has a tendency to layer in roughly 2 trillion vocal tracks in any given project, I don't know why I didn't think of having a monitoring track for the vocals with all the effects as needed. Or even have a louder "monitor" track and have a recorded version that's more mixed in.

Thank you for this - I think it'll save me at least 30-60 seconds per track of clicking :D

The first method, the track also records vocals WITH effects, but with the second 2 track method, Track 1 only records dry vocals and a better choice.

Great trick. I've done that exact method for adding reverb while recording vocals for the last few vocal tracks since my sound card doesn't have reverb. It's really nice to sing with the reverb. Thanks for the video.

thanks for this sir, i spend a lot of hours trying to figure out how to remove the latency issue.. i am actually not having this issue on asio device but using a voicemeter the issue occurs. so i think this is a great work around.. thanks a lot.
