The Rapture
believe there is but one truth. Many may have a portion of that truth. But in its entirety, it is still just one truth. As a parent, we want to correct our children. If you have children going in the wrong direction like playing in the street. You punish them because you love them. But if they refuse your correction and get run over. What can you do? And this is how I see the Lord who told us what God our Father expected. But when people who are not a doer of his word are thrown into great tribulation.
We know, those who believe and love Christ go boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need Heb 4:16. For this reason like Lot, we know God is not going to allow his elect to be destroyed by Satan. God doesn’t take any pleasure in the death of the wicked Ez 18:23. Much less His elect. Yet when we have no protection as Christ explained in Luke 13 using a tower that fell in those days. Thereby eighteen souls lost their lives. The story is found in Luke13:4-5 whereby Christ said: they were not sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? But, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. In other words, Jesus said, we could perish in a violent way when we are not following the truth!
Christ asked when he came back would he find any faith upon the earth? Luke 18:8 He said if we had faith as a mustard seed a mountain would move. He didn’t mean on top of us!
Truth is not established just for ourselves but for God’s glory. Jonah was saved from the fish’s mouth. Meshack, Shadrack, and Abednego were rescued from the fire. The Children of Israel walked through dry land when the sea opened. This was so the world could know that He is.
And when the children of men fail to be doers of the truth, we find a great tribulation comes upon the earth. At which point John in Revelation was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, with its worshipers Rv 11:1. They are “the two olive trees” and the two lampstands, and “they stand before the Lord of the earth.” Rv 11:7And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast (an evil spirit that possesses evil men) shall make war against them, and shall overcome them and kill them.
These two will not sleep because they will not see a grave. But shall be raptured for all to see 1 Cor 15:51, 52. Hence to the glory of God proving to the world, He is the truth! After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; Rv 7:9 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb Rv 7:13-14. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea Rv 21:1.
Those saved and come out of this tribulation will not receive an inheritance in the Kingdom of heaven but will regain a new life in the world to come. In this new world, we find, "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, The leopard shall lie down with the young goat, The calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them, Isa11:6." And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox Isa 11:7. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den Isa 11:.8. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea Isa11:9.
And the new world will have no need of a sun, neither a moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
Like the sun in our sky, the new world will receive its light from a world inhabited by those in God’s Kingdom. Whereby the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it, Rv 21: 23-24.
Therefore, I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people. Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment has come. Yet, those who fail to be doers will have their dues with Satan and his fallen spirits in the lake of fire
