Farming Free Units and What They Can Do With Hoarding Them For Skin Purchase.

Notes:

Season 1, what can you get for free as a f2p player and the most you can get and will it make a difference.
. this video is based on what is known now and more events and missions could be dropped to earn more. The Battlepass will remain the same.

F2P looking for a skin down the line.
. Of the 5 events as part of the Midnight features this means you will have 24 days to complete the.
. These are now easier to farm based on giving you a choice rather than stipulating you have to do it by the requirements.
Win matches in midtown, or against AI, defeat enemies in doom match or other , rank top in doom
. This Event will be important in general to pick up the Thor Skin which I want.
. it is likely it’s the same structure as last time with another event to drop 5X 60 is 300 units from that alone. This a 24 day event which indicates this is a monthly release so we can ascertain that monthly free to play can pick up 3600 through this method for free.
. This translates to yearly getting 2 Epic Skins, with some change left over.
. Or 4 Rare Skins at 800 per piece.
. Or 1 Legendary with change left over.

If you purchase standard battlepass
. you will pick up 400 Units, 200 Lattice and no skins, and various sprays and items.
. You don’t get a lot from it and this is why you are encouraged to spend more to get more
. VIDEO is broken down into 3 sections, those who are FTP, those who bough the small battlepass and the those who bought luxury battlepass.
. I also want to give you perspective what this means for saving for the rest of the year.

If you purchase the Luxury Battlepass however
. you will get 600 Lattice and 600 Units overall.
. this is more expensive but does give more value for money, buying this gives you back lattice which helps with the purchase of future battlepasses going into other seasons or buying skins
. per season this means you could purchase a rare skin.
. but over a year with 3600 units you could buy 6 rare skins
. Or 1 legendary bundle
. Or even 2epic skins.

. So spenders who get the battlepass take your 600 units from the luxury add it to your 300 from the missions you have 900, depending on the volume you have for a year you could be sitting on 2400 + 3600 = 6000 Units per year. So you can make a decisions to save that.
. This for clarity is 2 legendary skins at 2600 with change left over.
. 3 Epic Skins at 1800 each
. 1 Grouping bundle at 4500 and a rare skins at 600
. pick and choose how you spend your units

Hoarding
. So spenders who get the battlepass take your 600 units from the luxury add it to your 300 from the missions you have 900, depending on the volume you have for a year you could be sitting on 1800 + 3600 = 5400 Units per year. So you can make a decisions to save that

. As this season events indicate an easier grind overall to get units I would still recommend hoarding and seeing when skins rotate on stores, yes if a skin is there you like , then get it but if there is something you can wait on you may find in the future some advantage on grabbing it.
. I still think when It comes to Cyber weekends or anniversary you will see significant reductions in costs and maybe some bargains here or there.

. If they reduce skins like they did with the Thor love and thunder one then there is a good chance to pick up a bargain down the line.

bro is talking about years here lol, said 3 epics Per year 😂. I'm not repeating the same mistake i did with gaywatch, I have probably more than a 100 legendary skins and what a wast of time and money that was.
The momment this game start feeling like a job where I have to give them money or give them too much time to get a worthless cosmetics that will look like sht the moment the next set of cosmetics comes I will immediately quit without looking back, The time and money were given them will never come back so they better make it worth it.

i kinda hate that the batttlepass DOES NOT pay for itself, i already barely have cash for stuff like this and they still want even more? are you joking? the free cash should be an extra not a must, they should at least do more events that gives more free lattice to compensate and let people always have the next pass paid if they keep up with the game not just give skin currency but actual cash currency...

I like you get so many currency in free battle pass and free skins trough events, codes and so on. I already have 1600 blue ones mostly from achievements and 100 yellow ones.
Overwatch 2 totally sucked in this way.
