I think that what is said al 4:49 is not correct.
You can place a totem in a territory even if you don´t have a tend of your color in it. The only restriction is that the territory has to be explored (have at least one tend of any color) and the totem heigth has to be less or equal as the number of tents that have max number in the territory. Correct me if I am wrong.
