Why Robtop removed these icons from Geometry dash 2.2?

With Geometry Dash 2.2 releasing, we received a whole lot of new icons! But did you know there are a few icons that were supposed to be added but later got cut for unknown reasons?

Bruh the reason that Robtop didn't add the icons that the creators were fine with being in the game is Robtops fault and should be reminded of them, and added in 2.21, also im sad the ball didn't get added due to the dilemma I would've used it 😢

2:34 this cube probably wasnt added because of its controversial design. During 2.2s release, tidal wave had been going under a lot of controversy and this is one of the block designs from the remake 👍

2:20 -- I agree on that one, least favorite of my own icons.
I do admit, it was very clear that back in 2020 when the contest was held, that cat icon was made for my texture pack but being the crazy mf i was back then i simply submitted the cube without thinking twice. This feels like a mistake sometimes but if there's someone who likes it then no worries, i have no issues with it but i simply don't like it :(
