Today doing an analysis of each of the Beast Handler's paths, their strengths and weaknesses, what they were designed to do and scenarios in which they might underperform! We're going through every single path and looking to understand what exactly it does and how to make the most use of it!

I'm 100% sure that Orca is getting nerfed, no way they let a 20k tower dumpster BADs like that. How do you guys like the tower so far btw?

Birds can also drag bloons to a different lane on multi lane maps which is a very unique mechanic. Also they can drag the bloons forward too (this might be a bug though but its good for speedruns I guess)

just so people know, a maxed merged megaladon can 1 shot bads until round 150, after that it starts to struggle. Also the time it takes to pull the moabs in increases as health increases, so a round 150 bad takes a long time to drag in (like 5-7 second from testing)

In summary the Top Path is Extreme Single Target DPs, The Middle is Anti Group Ceram and the Bottom is stall

birds can drag bloons from the very end of the track to the start making them probably one of the strongest knockback-like effects in the game

what i don't like is that the beast handler itself NEEDS to be in range of things to even gain the ability to level up, if you are not close to any source of water in it's "attack" range you can't upgrade the water path at all, and same thing if you are not close to a track you can't level up the flying path at all. the dino at least can be anywhere

The bird is super underrated ngl. I was able to beat infernal chimps with 40k extra cash because 0-0-5 can solo rounds 90-100 with very basic support that you should be getting anyways (I had Quincy, a ninja+alch, and a 2-0-4 sniper)

we keep forgetting that the middle path's ability can stun the entire screen for a few seconds
and pretty much erase most non MOAB Class bloons when the ability is activated.
it's effectively a "pop and awe" ability that can be weaker or stronger depending on the dinosaur's power level.
you can pretty much destroy round 76 with a single non-merged T-rex.

I hadn't even tried to overclock the dino yet...I've just been using some micro to move it around the map to help clean up

I tested on winter park, a single.orca without a 020 vilage, non maxed, if put in the center of the fountain can solo a fortified BAD on round 1. You have to have great placement and get lucky, but it can happen,

I know fortified BADs don't show up till lunch later, and that's near perfect placement on a long track, but that's still pretty insane
