1975. One of my life highlights. I was a young salesman at a Kawasaki dealer in N. Miami Beach. The owner sold six 900Z police bikes to the Ft Lauderdale Police Dept. We had to cover the blue lights, but the staff got to ride them there to deliver them.

I took my motorcycle road test on a fully dressed KZ 1000 police interceptor with the cherries covered.
We also used to use it on motorcycle trips and watch the cars get out of the way
