**the Earth turns upside down, completely reversing gravity, resulting in mass destruction, tens of thousands of deaths and nightmarish free-falls to the sky**

Uncle Rusty: “It was quite an unfortunate afternoon”

I love how this is kinda the "The grass is always greener on the other side" saying, but darker and gruesome, it's awesome.

On the day the Earth turned upside down,
The sky above became the ground
And the clouds became the sea below
Of course, I wasn’t the first to know

And all the people, struck with fear
Would fall until they disappeared
And those of them inside their homes
Would hit the roof and break their bones

Outside, they wish that they were in,
Where ceiling fans would cut their skin
And inside, they wish that they were out
To look across the world about

And though the Earth was quite a sight,
The ground had blocked out all the light
As people screamed and clung the trees,
No one above could hear their pleas

The world knew we all would die
As buildings fell into the sky
And down the tree trunks, some would climb
But most just jumped to save them time

And as for all those stuck inside,
They could not leave, and so they cried
And prayed that death would take them soon
It was quite an unfortunate afternoon

While over here, we had met our end,
In China, they were free again
To walk outside and stand their ground,
For in their homes they were not bound

And over here, we all would perish
And wish back for the life we cherish
But the more we know, the less we fear
And then the Earth became a sphere

So that's why he wears a hat, he needs protection from the sun. He's a vampire, alive since the dawn of humanity.

Damn this is almost 7 years old and doesn't even have 1000 likes. That's really sad. I hate that.
