MechWarrior 5: Clans is an upcoming BattleTech Mecha game under development by Piranha Games and due for release in 2024 on Windows and Consoles. It is the first Clan single player MechWarrior game since 1995.

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is set in 3015 during the final decade of the Third Succession War, casting the player as a rookie mercenary MechWarrior rising from the ashes of a demolished mercenary unit. They are able to accept contracts from the various factions available in this time period. The campaign is said to go all the way up to 3049, just before the Clan Invasion."

Cool showcase and enjoy the style. Always been an Adder fan in the Prime config, and it looks good here too. But I wish they'd tighten up the weapon effects. The flamer animation is coming out of the chin? I could get having it view lower for gameplay reasons when viewed from inside, but when you see it externally it just looks weird. Interesting PPC aftereffect.

I can’t believe it! My favorite clan mech isn’t even in the game! Where’s my Fire Moth?! I want that crazy armed speed machine! I want to flank and backstab and run circles around locusts! Man, I wish my internet was half as fast so I didn’t have to wait another 6 hours to play this game. I’ve waited 22 years and it looks so good!

I remember really liking the adder in mw4 and thinking it was OP for a light mech, especially when compared to inner sphere lights and mediums. The fact that I felt dangerous once I started using one confirmed that I wasn’t crazy

Myst Lynx is my Timeless Favorite Clan Lightmechs In term of Design and Firepower. Love how the hand is Designing make It looks like Little Muscular Guy. I also fans of The head hide between the Shoulder design.

The Draconis Combine Mustard Sausages certainly did hate encountering the Mist Lynx for a good while. It's one of my favorite clan lights.

The Adder has been a favorite ever since the original Mercenaries game. Such a great light mech that punches very hard.

I almost always rebuild my mechs by stripping them. Giving them max armor and decent speed. Then I look at the weapons. Have not seen that in Clans yet. Just omnipods that drop in. Maybe in an instant action style game I might be able to modify for max armor. I do like the mission replay feature. Going to rerun some of the training missions and better learn how to command the lance on the battle map. I did like the way this video was made and shot.

Long time user of the Mist Lynx and Adder on the tabletop, preferring the Prime of the Mist Lynx and A variant of the Adder (those LRM20s are spicy).

Arctic Cheetah or Adder would be my picks. The A version of the AC with twin SSRM6s is my favorite. Kit Fox and Mist Lynx are too fragile for my tastes. (Personally, I think practically any 'Mech under 30 tons is a death trap.)

Arctic Cheetah makes me think that they got a Spider Mech or a Javelin and told them to make it work out at a gym. Same thing for the Mist Lynx though more like they told them to make a Commando work out instead.
