Down 2 more pounds today! Was at a stall. Increased fats, decreased protein as you suggested! Yippy! Wasn't losing weight for a couple months or so. Took my measurements and wow! Certainly losing inches. Increasing water helps too. I'm scale addicted. A couple pounds up has the potential to darken my day lol!

This is a terrific video! Thank you! I started Carnivore a few weeks ago and although the scale did drop initially, it has stopped now but I do feel my clothes are looser than what the scale would indicate. My sleep is much better and the Arthritis gets better every day. I think the key is understanding this is a repair process and with the repair comes weight loss, but not until your body is ready. Great information that anyone new to this way of life should hear! Thanks again!

When I started my carnivore journey in September 2020, I put my scale away and never pulled it out again. I know I've lost over 70 lbs because I went to the doctor once, and I keep buying smaller clothes. I've now decided that too much of my life has been spent tying my self-worth to a number on a scale and I refuse to give it that power any longer. I feel good and that is what's important to me.

Hey man,
My Dad recommended watching your stuff recently. Very inspiring. I've lost a hundred pounds eating low carb meals and recently I've been working on cutting out veggies, as I've found that accelerates my fat loss even more.

Great video! So true!!! So many things we still don't understand are going on inside of our bodies, as a process of adaptation to new things and also of healing. Muscle is much heavier than fat, so we can't ditch everything else that is working for us, just for a number we don't agree with on the scale...Just keep going and be patient. Resistance training, even if just a few minutes a day, can make a big difference in the way the body adapts to burning fat as well, while strengthening muscle mass and building it up. It works for me!

Being in a wheelchair, using a scale is logistically complicated so I don't do it very often. Instead I notice that I fit into older pants. Weight-loss is just a side effect of improving your cardiovascular health.

It's good to see sweet little K-9! I've had "skittish" rescued dogs in the past and they were the best companion dogs ever. I wish I could adopt another. I have a rescue house rabbit now. He's wonderful!

Talking in terms of FAT loss, body composition and metabolic health is what we are after. Too many people say weight when they mean fat. Remove the grey areas so that goals are clear.

I do weigh every so often out of curiosity, but that number really means nothing to me. From the start my focus was on health, not weight. Get the body healthy and good things follow.

In all the research I have done, it often takes 6 months- 3 years-ish to fix a damaged body depending on where you start from. I am sure it takes longer even for some, especially with setbacks, or failed experiments, but eating correctly, along with other lifestyle improvements, will keep you going in the right direction, which is far better than the other way!

Agree Bruno...I weigh once a week but use a tape measure as well. My clothes get looser/baggy. That matters most....and how I feel.
I am ketovore but so enjoy your content.

i stepped on the scale this morning as usual my weight was up by 1kg i was so distressed i lost the desire to go for my morning walk so i just gotback into bed and watching this video so i dont have a repeat.

Great video, Bruno. Non scale victories are so critical on this journey. Loss of inches, better sleep, better mood or less mood swings.. its amazing that if we look, there are so many. Just curious.. where do you stand with coffee? The Calabrese in me desires it 😊 Thanks for sharing!

Very thankful for this video. 3 months in healing liver, thyroid. Waiting for loss to start. I need to be patient even though others around me get impatient and wonder what I am doing!

Went 80 /20 after year of regular carnivore.However I feel awesome and got rid of sleeping with my cpat.
